THERAPY

The word comes from Greek therapeia which means healing. Interestingly, therapy by its name promises feeling better. So, is it possible to overcome problems, feel happy and be healed?

In therapy two people engage in a relationship which is equal and accepting. Being with someone who is non judgmental and listens gives you space to reflect objectively on your situation.

Therapy is a personal and unique experience for each of us. It can be challenging and emotionally strenuous and cause anxiety however, it is also rewarding and fulfilling. There is no bigger challenge to oneself than facing their own fears and desires. Taking responsibility for one’s own life is immensely freeing and balancing. Fully accepting ourselves might seem obvious, but it is one of the biggest difficulties people can face.

Therapy helps with understanding who we are, why we are the way we are, what is in our control and what is beyond us. Therapy can help you to become friends with your own internal processes, your feelings, the way you perceive the world.

Therapy is a journey you take to explore yourself. It is a tough task but empowering one! And what is crucial to remember is that, it's you who seats in the drivers seat and decides about speed, direction or even starting the engine.
